Neighbourliness is showing compassion, mercy, and concern or rendering a helping hand to someone close to you that has such needs. A neighbour is someone close by you, irrespective of tribe, religion, social difference, the spirit of love compels one to demonstrate neighbourliness. Helping unbelieving student or strangers in areas of difficulties in their courses is a demonstration of neighbourliness (1Corinthians 8:1,2). It may involve sharing food, money and materials with the needy and praying for their good and welfare (Matthew 25:34-40).
