Add ‘e’ in the feminine

Note: you can’t always hear the difference
Un joli village –> une jolie case
Un champ petit –> une montre petite
“f” beomes ‘v’
Un garcon sportif –> une fille sportive
Certain consonants are doubled
Un gros boubou –>une grosse orange
Un gros home –> une grosse femme
Un gentil fils –> une gentille fille
No change if the masculine ends in ‘e’
Un immeuble modern –> une maison moderne
Un bic modern –> une table moderne
Add ‘s’ in the plural
De grands arbres –> des cases traditionalles
De gros baobabs –> de jolies cases
NOTE: The position of the adjectives.
Short adjectives are usually placed in front of the noun: une jolie case.
Long adjectives are usually placed after the noun une case traditionnele.
