StopLearnStopLearnThis is a device which can convert electric energy into rotational mechanical energy. It consists of coils of wire pivoted in a magnetic field. When current flows through the coil, it experiences a torque which makes is to spin about its axis in the magnetic field.
The insulated wire gauge is wound round the battery ten times. The end if striped. On one of the end half is coated with a permanent marker. The other half is left uncoated. On the other side, the end is stripped bare. The wire gauge is given a gentle tilt and it begins to rotate.
